Welcome to Brooklands, the home of the Bears!

I am honored to serve as the principal at Brooklands Elementary.  Brooklands has a proud tradition of providing nurturing and caring learning environments for all students, and I am honored to have the opportunity to work alongside an incredible community of staff, students, and families. 

Building positive relationships and partnering with families are the  upmost priorities for all of the Brooklands staff.  We create and strengthen our school community through collaboration, positive relationships, and keeping the academic growth, social development, and overall well-being of our children as our shared focus and priority.  We are proud to work with you in the shared best interest of your child or children. 

I have been fortunate enough to have worked in the field of education for the past 20 years, acquiring many different lenses from the various roles I have served in. Rochester Community Schools is such an incredibly special organization to be a part of, and I wake up every morning feeling gratitude and pride to be able to do what I love every day. I am thrilled about the opportunity to  share my excitement and absolute passion for working with school communities. I have a tremendous amount of pride for our district, schools, and my colleagues as we work hand in hand to help our students and families.

Outside of my school life, I love spending time with my family and friends. I live here in Rochester Hills, with my husband and beautiful son, and enjoy all of the amazing amenities of our wonderful community.  My husband and I are proud MSU grads and love watching and attending sporting events, and listening to live music. I LOVE living in Rochester Hills!

I look forward to daily opportunities to share my passion, excitement, and love for education, and excitedly look forward to building and fostering positive, collaborative relationships with the Brooklands Bears!
